Ordering Jet Convert Services
When placing an order with Jet Convert via the website or telephone, you confirm that all the details that you have provided are true and correct. When uploading a file for conversion you confirm that it has been created and activated by a licensed user.
If ordering on behalf of a client, you confirm that you have been given all the necessary permissions by your client to pass on the data contained in their accounting software.
Xero subsidised transactional history
Where Xero subsidise a conversion it is for the current and previous financial/fiscal year (FY). By current we mean the actual FY as per your taxation authority, not the FY that the file or source data is set to. This means that usually you will receive between 12 and 24 months of transactions courtesy of Xero depending on the time of year you start the conversion. Delivery Time
Jet Convert commits to a 3 business day turnaround time for MYOB files and PDF conversions, 5 business days for all other conversion types. For many conversions the file is turned around much faster than that. within 24 hours.
While our process is automated, we cannot tell ahead of time what data will cause variations in the conversion time. Conversions can take longer due to complexity of the data or file size.
Our service level time of 3 or 5 business days allows time for automated and manual Quality Assurance checks to assure of a faithful replication of the data in Xero.
Conversion Guarantee
We take all reasonable steps to ensure that the conversion service is provided to your expectation because your satisfaction is important to us. On rare occasions the file data prevents us from being able to completely deliver against our specifications. If this happens we will contact you and give you the option to cancel the conversion. Our service level is that we can convert 95% of the files submitted. Sometimes due to the data in the file we will recommend less transactions, or a balances only conversion.
Data issues that arise as a result of the conversion process will be rectified at no cost to you, or a full refund of any money paid if the problem cannot be resolved. However should conversion issues arise due to the Essential File Preparation not being completed on the Pre-Conversion checklist the conversion may be subject to a Re-conversion fee of $220 (in addition to the conversion package cost, and charges in the Countries currency) as Xero only subsidises one conversion per file.
Note that we are unable to investigate data queries more than 2 months following a conversion due to post-conversion activity (new transactions, reconciliation, bank feeds etc) in the Xero org. You can always refer back to your Action Checklist to see if any of your queries can be answered here.
If accounting data queries exist that related to the following issues we reserve the right to charge for professional Xero accounting advice:
- how historical data appears in the file uploaded for conversion
- changes made in Xero following conversion or
- not understanding how the data would convert.
Refunds
If the accuracy of the data converted is not completed as per the source file provided for conversion you are entitled to a refund if we cannot fix the issues to your satisfaction. To be entitled to a refund we expect that you have contacted the support team with your conversion questions, these have been investigated and there is no suitable resolution.
To receive the refund we require the Xero subscription to be returned to Jet Convert.
Cancellations & additional charges
We reserve the right to charge you the cost of conversion (including the Xero subsidy amount) if the same entity is reloaded twice within 30 days. Please make sure you send us the correct file for conversion.
If a paid fix has been applied to a conversion and you cancel before the conversion is complete we reserve the right to charge you for the fix, e.g. Mac fix, Verification error, Multiple Locations etc.
Where services requested are outside the scope of our usual automated process we reserve the right to charge an additional fee for manual work or additional administration. You will be asked to authorized that charge in writing before we undertake the work requested.
Privacy
Our respect for our customers’ right to privacy of their personal information is paramount. Jet Convert are currently exempt from certain requirements of the Privacy Act, but are fully committed to operating under the USA, Australian, New Zealand and Singapore Privacy Principles. Limitation of Liability Disclaimer
Our conversion services are provided in good faith but Jet Convert does not make any representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, in relation to all or any part of the services provided, and all warranties and representations are hereby excluded to the extent permitted by law.
The contents of the website and other Jet Convert written communications do not constitute advice and should not be relied upon in making, or refraining from making, any decision.
To the extent permitted by law, Jet Convert hereby disclaims all liability (howsoever arising) in connection with any loss and/or damage, arising out of or in connection with any use of, or inability to use, all or any part of our services, or any action taken (or refrained from being taken) as a result of using these services.
Jet Convert may change these terms from time to time and so you should check these terms regularly. Your continued use of our website will be deemed acceptance of the updated or amended terms. For conversions, proceeding past the upload page by ticking Acceptance of Terms and Conditions deems acceptance of the current terms.
